The DARK act or HR 1599 stands for “Deny Americans the Right to Know” Act. The US House of Representatives recently passed this and it has yet to be approved and voted on the Senate. Perhaps you are already aware of it. This bill if approved will exempt any State’s rights to ever enforce GMO labeling.

2. there are newly revised GMO talking points with new info on Obama’s executive order not to pre-empt states rights, if you need to use those to give to your senator or hound a rep. for a bad vote in the House on HR1599.
3. a link to a legal analysis on the DARK Act that can be printed out and give to legislators
4. a new leaflet that can be printed double sided on the DARK Act that tells people to call their senators and has DARK Act info – also the QR code on the leaflet scans back to the ACT Now page which we will be continually updating and
5. a link to get your senator’s phone number to call AND send an email letter to oppose the DARK Act – I would do both, since calls are so important, you can also modify the email to send the senator as well
