Poultry Cooking Class with Manon Gaudreau

Friday, December 5, 2014, 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Sustainability Center in Hailey, 308 South River Street.

Learn simple, healthy and economical ways to prepare chicken and turkey, to make stock with the bones for soups and sauces, and to freeze meals in convenient portion size. A detailed procedure to prepare a traditional holiday turkey will be given.

Techniques include, roasting, baking, slow-cooking, deboning, and making soups. Take home copies of the recipes.

The class includes a warm healthy lunch of gluten-free soup, and Al’s famous sourdough bread.
