The Ecology Patch – Theresa Strohlberg
Theresa Strolhberg farms almost 5 acres on the west side of Buhl, ID. She grows a wide variety of products including certified organic produce, herbs, flowers and fruit and Theresa also makes baked goods, and cans jams and jellies. Look for beets, peas, tomatoes, beans, peppers, greens, squash, cabbage, herbs, cucumbers, apricots, pears, plums, berries, and apples.
Theresa’s baked goods are made with 100% organic freshly ground wheat flours. All oils are cold pressed, and there is no GMO’s or irradiated ingredients in any of Theresa’s products and all fruit spreads are made with natural pectin.
Theresa is dedicated to using all natural weed control accomplished by cultivation, mowing, borrow pits, tree rows, ditch and signage forbidding spray toxic spray. Insect control is accomplished by by crop rotation, a good fertilization program, hand picking, insect traps, homemade non-toxic formulas. Theresa is passionate about local food, small scale production and supporting sustainable methods. Ecology Patch is a producer member of Idaho’s Bounty.
